Hi, my name is Brian Lucas and I play atmospheric, experimental music with bluesy overtones. I stopped playing guitar in my early teens and never picked one up again until a couple of years ago. Now all this music that has been bottled up in my head over the last three decades is slowly starting to come out.
I love the Blues and basically anything to do with guitars. My favorite guitarists are David Gilmour for his unimaginable phrasing and double bends, BB King for his sweet vibrato, Robin Trower for his soulful tone and Stevie Ray Vaughan for the raw energy and emotion he poured into every note he played.
I also enjoy many other genres of music. I grew up listening to everything from Bluegrass, Jazz, Funk, Rock and of course the Blues. My own music is a combination of those many different styles and influences and is from the heart in hopes of creating a peaceful and atmospheric experience. I just try to play soulfully with all the emotion and feeling that I can draw upon and hopefully that is conveyed to the listener.
I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to visit and I hope you enjoy listening.

Coconut Blues Club:
I just wanted to extend an invitation to a really hip virtual blues venue at SoundClick called “Coconut Blues Club”. The site is run by a wonderful blues lover from the UK, Jude Law. Please stop over and check out the fantastic job she is doing of spotlighting new artists as well as current collabs from some of the veteran SC members. There are several venues so be sure to check them all out or just stop by to enjoy the tunes playing on the jukebox. Either way I promise you won't be dissapointed.

Once you're there be sure to check out the Collab room and grab a handful of free cashews on the way. Stop by the Manager...

I just ordered the Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe and the MI Audio Crunch Box. I can't wait to record with them so keep checking back for new material...and go visit Nick at http://www.tonetronix.com

Guitar World March 2008 issue:
I got my March issue of Guitar World in the mail yesterday. As usual I can't wait to read every article and lesson so I headed for the house to relax and tear into it.
As I started flipping through it I about fell off my chair when I saw my picture on page 28 in the Defenders Of The Faith section.
I had submitted it so long ago that I had given up on it ever making it to print. No one from Guitar World confirmed that I was being selected so I was quite surprised when I saw my pic.

Hello,
I would like to thank all my friends and fans for making Love Will Never Die a SoundClick #1 song.
The songs success has been beyond my wildest dreams.
Speaking of dreams, I'd like to announce the release of my second song and with your support, hopefully my second #1.
It's a hard rocking number called It's a Dream and I have blisters the size of walnuts on my fingers.
The vocals are once again by Kate Lesing. I did the guitars, bass, piano, arrangement and production.
I would appreciate it if you would take a listen and maybe rate it and post a comment if you want. I value your feedback.
A big hug for all my friends and fans.
Roxie

Hi, Brian!!! Just passing to tell you about two new tunes:
The first tune, posted in our site, is about the magic of a night sky observation, from sunset to sleeping time.
Star Gazers: -
(from 0min00sec) sunset and first stars;
(from 0min22sec) starry sky;
(from 1min07sec) extraordinary events and superstitions;
(from 1min42sec) deep space observation;
(from 2min26sec) dreaming about cosmos.
Total time: 4'18''
* * *
The second tune is a collab with EFrank, who composed "Pampas Bit" as homage to the place where we live: The "Pampas". This place covers the very south of Brazil and North of Argentina and it is known by its smoth hills and plains, getting the attention of the naturalist Charles Darwin in his famous travel on the ship "The Beagle" in 19 century.

Hello my friends!
I want to send a Thank You to all my friends here on Soundclick.
My song “Five Elements” went to #1 on the Instrumental Rock charts! I’m humbled because there are so many better musicians than me here. I do appreciate the kind words and support.
Chart ratings were not my goal, (but it’s cool to see it up there),
I joined to share music and meet like minded musicians, friends and trade ideas.
Anyway, please drop by anytime to say hello and have a wonderful day!
Kev

Hello,
I sincerely hope It's alright to post this here. Please delete if it's not.
This is for all of Roxanne's fans and for those that are not yet a fan.
Not only is her music some of the best you will ever hear on SoundClick she is truly a SoundClick Sweetheart.
Her contribution to the community has been incredible.
Not only has she been helping new members set up their pages, she has gone so far as to actually design graphics and backgrounds for them to use.
She has shown a selfless desire to promote the music of others and has been a benefit to many of the artists on SoundClick.
But why should you take my word for?
You may want to see for yourself.
