Aslan and Lydia Hart originally met in 1999 as members of the worship team in a small nondenominational church in Trenton, NC. As they continued to minister in music and worship, their love for God and the hunger to go deeper and to pursue more of God grew. That hunger led them to another church where they were mentored and taught by mighty servants of God to be free to be used by God.
In 2001, they were married.
For the next few years, their hunger for a more intimate walk and pursuit of God continued to grow. With God as their teacher, and His servants as His tools, the Harts were taught to completely abandon the ideas of man and to go after God with all that they have..
In 2004, God gave Aslan more of an understanding of that complete abandon and the definition if you will, of the way of their worship. RAW
"Raw Worship: It is worship of the heart and spirit, Unrefined or processed by the mind or one's self. Raw as it comes from the spirit of God, through our hearts, out of our mouths to our Father in real time. Nothing removed, nothing added, raw. Untouched by our minds that would try to refine, define, process, improve, control, rationalize, structure, and package the song of the spirit. Misunderstood by many, it is the worship of David. It is not totally understood, for no one understands God, but it is brought forth for God, by God, and enables us to enter-in to His throne room, into the Holiest of Holies, to bask in His presence, His love, and His peace.
In Raw Worship, there are no words on the wall, nor words you are expected to sing. Our Father brings forth a new song every time, never the same, forever changing to meet our heart's needs. To mold us and shape us as we are there soaking in His presence. He guides us, instructs us, and reprimands us, all while soaking in His love and glory.
Raw Worship; untouched by the human mind."
The Harts used to serve at Worship Him, a nondenominational church in New Bern NC where on Thursday nights all self was put aside, the Heart of God was aggressively pursued and God was worshipped with all their hearts.
These worship nights brought together a mighty group of intercessors and hungry for more of God worshippers. This group of intercessors and worshippers, after a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, stepped out in December 2006 and began what was called an Eagles Gathering.
As eagles soar high and most times soar alone, these Eagles Gathering were a gathering of those eagles that were perhaps out there alone, that had a longing to soar ever higher and deeper with God; Those with kindred hearts to worship together and build each other up in the Spirit.
Gods unique and peculiar people with a desire to ignite a fire and restore His Glory on the earth.
Thus the eagles fly in, and fly out. They fly in for refreshing and renewing and fly out to spread His Glory.
The Harts have held several intercession and worship gatherings on their property in Trenton NC. Worship was under open skies with the Holy Spirit in charge.
The fall of 2007, during the Feast of Tabernacles, the property was established as Lion of Judah Worship Grounds, as a place of renewing, refreshing and continual replenishing of those who have a heart for God and desire a deeper walk with Him.
The fall of 2009, a 38 foot round went up on the Lion Of Judah Worship Grounds and more camper trailers were purchased. Worship services are held in the tent every Sunday and worship music is played 24/7 on the grounds.
The Vision God has given Aslan and Lydia Hart for the Lion of Judah Worship Grounds is to create a House Of Habitation for the Lord. To open a place of totally free worship and intimacy with our Lord Jesus. To create a retreat where those hungry for a much deeper relationship with Him can come and touch the heart of God with their heart. A place where they can come and feel safe and free from the judgment of mans religion. A place where people can come and worship Him in the way God has anointed them to; in song, instrument, painting, dance, pottery, and more.
Our hearts just want to go deeper in Him. Our desire is to be faithful in what we have been blessed with, to do what He asks and to go where He sends. Lead us on..
We go where the Lord leads. We will worship anywhere He leads us to go, even if it is just us two with an audience with the King of Kings alone. We Love being wherever He leads us and wants us to be, because it is always in His presence that we end up, no matter where we are.
