Fuzzymoto: an otherwise meaningless name is defined by the unique sound of a band of musicians based in Huntington Beach. They have been bringing their unique eclectic style of jamming to the Southern California since 2001. Not only are they known for their long improvised jams, and wide-ranging set lists, but they are also recognized for their ability to shift through a wide arrange of musical styles. Theyll play funk, bluegrass, reggae, rock and ska all in one show. Their fans are dedicated and loyal to their sound, simply because every show they play is different, and people want to see what theyll play next. One day they might bust out the banjo and mandolin, the next day they might play a whole set of reggae. It all depends on the Fuzzymoto flow. We basically perceive ourselves as a live band. We really enjoy jamming and improvising, so that each show is different. We never play the same setlist twice. We take a lot of influence in regards to our approach to song and setlist structure from Phish and Grateful Dead. We're kind of all over the place.

We play mostly clean. Not a whole lot of effects.
