auto blank rocks hard. listen to us dudes.
auto:blank started one dreary night in december. the year was 2002 and we were in 7th grade. at our first practice, our origional bassest (joe bell) didnt show up, so it was pete force and ej sentman jamming out. the linup continued as this for quite some time and eventualy came our first show. it was the tallent show at our middle school. we played a song we were working on called "times go by." the preformance was great, and videos of it exist so one day you might have the chance to watch it. we celebrated after the talent show, but the next thing you know were back practicing. we were working on a set for the battle of the bands at our highschool. our setlist turned out something like: blikzgreek bop (ramones cover), fairy tale, times go by, and a great cover of old mc'donnald. after the battle of the bands we took some time off. we p layed songs and made new ones the rest of the spring and summer until disaster struck. something went wrong and we parted ways with joe bell and we were short of a bassest. we didnt fret though, we kept on rocking. we continued to make new songs and what not until we decided to get some new members. we got 2 of our friends, steve kenedy (2nd guitar) and rob viso (bass) to play with us for a few weeks, but eventualy they left us too. they went on to be in another band. again, we still didnt let this setback get to us and we kept playing music. soon came the 2nd tallent show we played at our school. we played a new song that was more rocking then ever. it was called "ready to try." this tallent show had a lot of contraversy in it. they tried to cut us back, but we werent doing that, we werent gonna let anyone keep us back. they said our song was too long, and too loud, but we didnt care so we just played it anyway. again, after this show we took another break, but this time it was longer. after this time, we focused on practicing and prefecting our old songs rather than making new ones. eventualy, we decided it was time to record. we made our album over spring break (one weeks time) and released it the day we got back. it was called ep#1. only 20 or so coppies have been made and it was given out for free. after the album, we took yet another break. during this break we grew as musicians and our musical tastes evolved. we decided that we didnt like our old sound, so we changed everything. we left our pop punk routs behind and followed a new sound. a sound of our own. we totaly threw all of our old songs out and made new ones. right now we are practicing and making new songs and are waiting to go into the studio soemtime soon. we hope you enjoy our music because we take much pride in it and have worked on it very hard.
