Hey! thanks for visiting my site, my name is Kim, i am a self taught guitarist. amateur vocalist. that explains why everything is so horrible. I was taught a few chords at age 12, and i liked the sound of the first strum i made. 5 years later, i still suck, but with little improvement. BUT! satisfying enough... for me.

Band/artist history

I was 12, and I had just moved to Hawaii. I had no friends, I had nothing to do. One day, Ryan, a family friend of ours, came over for a visit and brought his mexican guitar along. He taught me chords to the song, I Kissed a Girl sung by Jill Sobule. From then on, I'd become interested, and motivated to create music which brought out my emotion. Music that was just me.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

nope. i hope to build the courage to one day do so.

Your musical influences

Michelle Branch; Lisa Loeb; and Dave Matthews Band Acoustics.. a lot of it.

What equipment do you use?

Yamaha acoustic; Casio 76 keyboard; fender/squire strat; squire 25 Watt amp.

oh my.. my ex and i were listening to your songs and she said you sound 11.. :p then i was like "yea.." in any case you sound very young and you're much more advanced with the guitar than most of my students older than you. i'm guessing you're 17? mm. i really enjoyed 'eat sh*** 2' coz of the drum machine and the fun guitar riff. and well.. coz of 'eat sh***' hehe, what's not to like..? then i really like how the guitars enter the song. i think 'fooling around' is your study for that song? i do that too. then in your song 'you and me' i liked this line the most: "When I’m with you baby I’m already everything I wanted to be." that's real koo. and then there's 'shooting star'. i really liked the guitars and the dynamics in that song. i think you should add a lil more to it--make it longer. i liked it the most. it sounds a lot different from all your other songs. kool work. looking forward to hearing more. ______________
