Behold Her Locks (Jones 1610 xix
The lyrics come from an Entertainment given to Elizabeth I at Sussex in 1591. Thus the song was really written for Elizabeth (and played to her while she was shooting deer). However the music by Jones was not published until 1610.

How Many New Years (Jones1610/viii Tk7 Mix1
This is the 1st time this 400 year old song has been put out on MP3, CD, LP or 78 - I believe. Really a remake recording where my friend Mykola does all the keyboard parts and I just sing the 1st stanza on a mono track.

How Many New Years (Jones1610/viii Tk4 Mix5
The author of the lyric is anonymous but I like to think of this song as Robert Jones speaking to the patron of this book; Lady Mary (Sidney) Wroth since ten year before he had dedicated his first Booke to her father Sir Robert Sidney.

How Many New Years (Jones1610/viii Tk2 instrum
This is only 3 tracks and it was left without a vocal. Take 4 was my best take but it got a little muddy and when I go back to this Take 2 I enjoy some of the simple moments in it.
