Take Aim produce satirical tracks using current affairs topics as the basic for their songs. Their debut song The George W. Bush Track featuring Tony Cavallo was released in 2003 and has had over 25,000 downloads, outdoing other really flash artists who had better haircuts, wardrobe assistants and mobile phone sponsors. The George W. Bush Track' also made it to No.1 on Radio Active in Wellington, New Zealand. Take Aim had a full page feature in the NZ Truth newspaper right next to the sex escort classifieds.
Band/artist history
Take Aims second release The Pop Idol Song featuring Miss Priss was released in 2004. It is a piss-take on the Pop Idol TV format and had a specific New Zealand content referring to the 'NZ Idol' show. There is also a dub version of The George W. Bush Track.
