This is one man making music in his dorm room, basement, or anywhere else he can. The music is a kind of abstract electronic type thing. It is very spontaneous and improvised.
I started recording music in October 2005, after writing songs for quite some period. I've recorded a large amount of music in that time, about 60 songs. They span from electronic to acoustic rock. The electronic songs started in about December, and I have about 15 of those.
Yes, but not electronic music. I play acoustic shows by myself and have been in some bands.
This music is influenced by Pita, Edgar Froese, Ekkehard Ehlers, Christian Fennesz, Dino Felipe, Four Tet, Omar Rodriguez, General Magic, Tangerine Dream, Michael Rother, and John Frusciante.
This music is made with synthedit, a korg polysix, and a korg ms-20. I record onto a Fostex X-12 4-track, and then mix it onto the computer except for the synthedit parts, which are recorded right onto the computer. Any other songs were just done using a martin acoustic, an electric guitar I borrowed from my friend, and a Marshall practice amp.
This music was not preconceived or thought about before it was recorded, it was just flowing through me. Most of the tracks are first takes, and it is very rough around the edges.
