BIG NEWS - Idiot3 are now Goober Gun. Ian Hardwick - Bass, Vocs Jon Reynolds - Guitar, Vocs Tim Hardwick - Drums, Vocs Gavin McGeogh - Guitar Formed in 2006 and based in southern England, IDIOT3 are already proving that you just can?t beat a shed load of gigantic melodies, three way vocal interplay and a full on, engaging live performance. Having played in bands together since school, Ian, Tim and Jon had already released albums, toured the UK and played high profile support slots (The Wildhearts, Dogs D?Amour, The Quireboys) During the summer of 2006 IDIOT3 toured Holland and showcased their brand of infectious rock pop. The gigs were a huge success and included a show stealing performance at the large Pieremachochelrock festival. In August ?07 Idiot3 were chosen to perform at The ?BT Total Broadband Search For Unsigned Talent Event? in London, supporting Mutya from Sugarbabes! A strange combination perhaps, but Idiot3?s music blends Rock and Pop in a dazzling fashion. At the end of 2007 Idiot3 travelled to Mexico. They were the main act booked for a three night session at the new Green Room in Merida, Yucatan. Whilst there they made many new friends and fans and also appeared on radio and TV. They were made so welcome that it is their intention to return there as soon as possible to further their success in such a wonderful country. Having recorded several demos, IDIOT3 entered the studio with Roger Tebutt (Ginger, Rachel Stamp, Gay Dad) in early September 2006 to record their first 2 track CD. ?Reasons / Alive In Blue? has had a fantastic fan and critical response, with Idiot3 picking up excellent reviews. Eager to keep the material flowing, Idiot3 are recording high quality demos of their entire set, showcasing brilliantly strong material and songwriting. In July 2008 Idiot3 released their ep "Monster and The Grey Goose". At last they are becoming more noticed in the UK. They are "Best Band" winners of the coveted Mag Awards 2008 and radio play is now regular in the South of England. The ep is really selling well and is available online at www.idiot3.com. You will not be disappointed ! Soon to be touring the UK, Idiot3 are working hard towards an exciting future.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
We love playing live - its the best feeling when you see so many people enjoy your music and sing along ! We practice every week at least once and we have done this for the last 14 years. Its a discipline that we take extremely seriously. Our live performances must always be tight and as near to perfect as possible.
