Journey of a Broken Heart
Yo it's Marlon n' Julian here. We're an RnB group called Full Effect and recently started getting serious about our music. We started out sampling tracks around age 13, writing lyrics here and there for fun. When we turned 14 we started getting serious and made original tracks with Logic Pro. We took turns making lyrics for each song and right now we are using Reason to update our old tracks, so until we complete them we won't be adding any tracks soon.
Omarion, B2K, Usher, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown. Big name artists like those influence us a lot. But who could forget the King of Pop, Michael Jackson? We listened to the J5 alot with our dad, who was a big fan. A lot of the bass we put in our tracks aren't simple, one-note-per-beat sorta things. They have value and fullness. That's when you need to go back to the roots of music. Luther Vandross has a great voice and it would be a lie to say he doesn't influence us. He's up there among the artists with the greatest voices. Our last influence, who is our tutor and makes sure our beats sound the best, is our dad. He always gives us constructive critism and shows us all the little things that make a beat hot. So hot no one can touch it.
Behringer Keyboard, Reason 4.0, not much but it's a good start
