Band/artist history
As Founder/CEO, of True Sounds Entertainment, also known as T.S.E. established in 1995, Shannon A. Burton aka DJ Steady B. has made a respectable name for himself, and his company for over decade. Starting out in Hip Hop/R&B, now he performs as a multi-genre DJ/Producer/Promoter. Since 1997, DJ Steady B. has shared his music, energy and style to such countries as Germany, Canada and the U.S. while playing at events in Berlin, Toronto,Detroit, Indianapolis, Virginia Beach and Orlando to name a few. During his residencies at such clubs as; The R&B Cafe, Mixerz, The Mirage,Club DB,Veno's, Roxy's and The BoilerRoom in Lafayette, Indiana, Steady has gained acceptance, support and acknowledgement from the larger Lafayette community and surrounding areas, by performing at the annual, "Taste of Tippecanoe" and "Juneteenth Festival's". In late 2000, Steady B. moved to Muncie, Indiana thanks to the residencies at Olympus and Mark 3. Releasing the mixed-tape, "Nice Guys Bang Hard" he continued working hard and playing harder at events such as; Opus 1, Tarantism, Haunted Galaxy, Club Vertigo (Bloomington), The Matrix, More Than Corn (Merriville), Batteries Not Included, Escape, as well as other major events. As Promoter, Steady B. and T.S.E. has put together unforgettable events for the region, such as Melting Pot, Melting Pot 2, X-ile,Barn Yard Breakin',The Mix Tape and The Mix Tape 2. In 2001, T.S.E. hosted, "Familia" a CD Release Party for DJ Steady B's newest CD, "Tha Hardfather" which created a major buzz amongst the midwest electronic music scene, and was attended by reputable EDM DJ's from across the region. By the Summer of 2002, DJ Steady B. had competed at Club Eden's, DJ Battle in Indianapolis, IN., and displayed his skills at the DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival). Steady B. was also a featured DJ on 96.5 WAZY on Friday nights, "Freak Show"(03/04), while in residence. Summer of 2003, found Steady B. and T.S.E. putting together a weekly club night called, "Waxx Wednesday; featuring some of the Mid-West most talented DJ's such as Simple Simon, Gordo, Seth & Mack, Cory James, and DJ Powder amongst many others. In 2003, Steady B. was a work-a-holic. While organizing T.S.E. events at Roxy's and Veno's (West Lafayette), a residency at Jillian's and Club Kameleon (Indianapolis), and releasing his long awaited mixed CD "Return of Tha Hardfather", producing favorite tracks such as; Baby Batter and Just Blaze. Return of tha hardfather had became one of Indiana's most "must have" mixed CD's. Since 2004, DJ Steady B has been consistantly in high demand on the Indianapolis Night club/EDM circuit, performing at Club Fusion, Therapy,Seven,Lu Lu's, Jillian's and others on a regular basis. He has dropped his signature sounds, performing alongside names like Bad Boy Bill, Alex Peace, Skylab2000, Reid Speed, Annalze, Kos, Xavier, Flex, Paul Anthony, Simple Simon,Slater Hogan, Adam Jay, Shiva and Nick Rockwell. DJ Steady B's style is very unique and erotic for girls and guys alike. His eye popping stage performance and clicha' of "dirty music" promises a show that you will never forget. Steady B says, "The typical Booty Sound is played out, I wanna bring people a new flava. I'm dropping tracks you ain't ever heard!"
