She grew up listening to Ready For The World, Debarge, Mowtown Music, Run-DMC, Prince, Michael Jackson, TuPac and Biggie. She has won multiple talent shows performing a Norah Jones or Alicia Keys song. CourtneyMarie recorded her first two singles (Believe In Love, Nsync) with Mr. Gazner Hughes She has opened up for Artists at different venues including The Dow Event Center in Saginaw,MI ( GUCCI MANE ). She is currently working with G Pierce ( UBEU Records ) & Darius ( Casico Entertainment Group LLC ) on her Freshman project. CourtneyMarie has become a well rounded artist and she has goals of becoming one of the Legends. Her music is an infusion of Pop, Soul, R&B, Alternative Rock & HIPHOP. She is currently attending Saginaw Valley State University where she plays softball. Her major is Criminal Justice. She has received a Softball Scholarship, Deans Scholarship, MEAP Scholarship, NAACP Scholarship and various others totaling 8. When asked what her greatest singing experience has been thus far she said: It was the Christmas before my grand father died and my sister and I sang (My Girl by the Temps) as a present for him as she wiped tears from her eyes.
