A tale of avoidable woe, recasting the earlier versions of, respectively, Four More Years and Eight Long Years. With a nod to my memory from the early 1970's of Ken Price doing his spot on impression of Walter Brennan as Mick Jagger singing Angie.

Story behind the song
Even though our 24 month election cycle is way too long, the myriad, ongoing follies of the orange one prompted me to attempt to channel the ghost of Walter Brennan in a recasting (from doowoppy gospel to acoustic blues) a song written originally in response to the sElection by the Supremes of W, heretofore and present whitehouse occupant excluded, the worst president ever. Sad how little the underlying themes have changed.
Lyrics
4 more years of plundering the planet 4 more years of warming up the globe 4 more years, a change we better plan it cause I don’t think we can handle 4 more years. 4 more years of dissing other nations 4 more years of bullying our friends 4 more years of stubborn isolation, no I don’t think we can handle 4 more years. 4 more years x6 No I don’t think we can handle 4 more years. 4 more years picking narrow minded judges 4 more years to silence hooker friends 4 more years of him acting out his grudges well I don’t think we can handle 4 more years 4 more years of tax breaks for the wealthy 4 more years paying tariffs he decrees 4 more years you better hope that you stay healthy, cause I don’t think we can handle 4 more years 4 more years of: the genius who is stable: never ending lies; let me put it on the table, no I don’t think we can handle 4 more years repeat v1, chorus x2, outro=intro
