What you see here is a collection of original songs as well as a few covers.
Walking and talking to my wife and daughter and this thought/slash poem came to me in mere seconds.
In Awe
[04/09/01]
[A]
the cry of a loon,
a new rising moon
starlight reflects on the lake.
later the mist
steals in for a kiss
disappears quick as a snake.
[B]
here 'neath Gods veil
we are humbled.
spell bound, brought to our knees.
fear when my time comes I'll stumble.
in awe of the things I will see.
[A]
the air gets chilled,
I'm asked to rebuild
the fire for warmth and for light.
We gaze towards the sky,
catch a comet flash by
dream for no end to this night.
Instrumental / [B]
[A]
the moon settles down,
the sun comes around
the fire's now asleep like the stars.
We lay close to the coals,
feel close to my soul
and content in coming this far.
