Story behind the song
Before I came to Salvation in Jesus Christ I was like everyone walking around in darkness guided by my emotions and fleshly desires, although I was raised Catholic but never knew/learned the truth in Jesus. NOTE: I'm not knocking Catholic's because there are many 'Born Again' Catholic's. God says in His Word that no man can come to His Son Jesus except the Spirit of God draws him/her and that is what happened with me and I headed His call, which is the best choice I have ever made in my life. If God is drawing you here is the way to come God through His Son Jesus...GODS PLAN OF SALVATION: https://www.bibleinfo.com/en/questions/what-must-i-do-be-saved

WHEN WISDOM CRIES OUT by: Jerry (Jerome) Herrera 5-2019 VERSE-1 O she sits on a hill, and stands upon a high hill, between the crossroads One road is easy and the other is hard, and she calls out to those passing by VERSE-2 O ye simple ones, she cries out, listen what wisdom has said Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant But he knows not this is the place, the place of the dead BRIDGE-1 One road will be easy, but other will be hard The road that is easy, is temporal, But the road that is hard; [is eternal...(echo-2) (your Reward is waiting) (instrumental) VERSE-3 Well, when wisdom cries out, will you heed her call? Or will your eyes be dim and you ears be dull? I traveled the easy road for the long haul cause my eyes were dim, and my ears were dull Stolen water was sweet, bread was pleasant, eaten in secret But my heart saw the dead men, n how they had fallen Then I heard her voice and I saw he callin (short instrumental) BRIDGE-2 Well, Ive been redeemed from where the dead men dwell, Although Ive made many mistakes, I cannot tell The Lord has picked me back up, and [hes kept me well...(echo-2) (instr) VERSE-4 Well, When wisdom cries out, will you heed her call? Or will your eyes be dim and you ears be dull? Will you go down the easy path, or will you go down the hard road? Interlude O the Broadway is sweet, and theres plenty to eat But like a cloud without rain, in a dry thirsty plain It soon fades away (echo-2) O when wisdom calls out, O heed her call, let not your eyes be dim Nor your ears be dull (instrumental - out) Scripture Ref: Proverbs 1-9
