Why?
There was this really Irie youth in the 90's
always on his skate board in the pedestrian mall of State St. In Madison,WI; always with the Djijeridoo, always talking about Hawaii, and the Rasta out there. I see him resisting the system,
Sharing a ganja by the Frank Lloyd Wright Menona Terrace.
Just before the birth of my son, I was obligated to tell him that we couldn't chill together any more due to his runnings, he was runnin' with negative vibes.
One day I heard he made in to Hawaii, and was killed shortly thereafter in a car crash.
It's about that feeling of unfinished business with a friend; about wanting to have been able to have done more for a friend that you no longer can be.
Why, couldn't you take it easy, poor Jon Bear
You were n't so bad.
Now, many hearts are broken
I hope you live For Iva
by Hawaiin shores.....
